As Xyltha finished his speech, Lyssoryl marched in from stage left singing the Anthem and weilding her broom as the leader of a marching band might use a baton. She marched around a pile of stage brummagem , giving it a curious glance as she pretended it was the idol.
Finishing her song, she stopped and rested the end of the broom on the ground and propped the shaft on her shoulder. Pretending to examine a book. "I do believe we're here!" she said to Xyltha with excitement. "This idol matches the one in the illustration. I believe this is the place that the Trelorian fae collect to perform their strange rites."
She launched into a comical description of their journey, describing a horrible night spent in a tree just out of reach of the hoppings of the rabbit sized fleas of the Thunderhead pass, and a run in with the pants-eatting gazelles of the irongrass plains.
Having hopefully given Xyltha enough time to gather mana, she turned to him, hoping a light would soon appear.

The music of the Aelyrian Anthem worked perfectly in all of it's uses. The two of them would regain those feelings of jubilance, and their combat performances would be increased greatly, not that they needed to have them increased for what they were doing, but being the effect of the anthem, it would work perfectly while Lyssoryl was singing. Once she completed the song, the feelings would linger, giving them proper ability to continue on with their practice...

Even as his companion continued with the scene, Xyltha retreated into the background to gain some quiet. It was difficult trying to parade around the stage and entering his trance at the same time - if not impossible.
He hopped aside, and proceeded to close his eyes in preparation of his meditation. He cleared his mind of all thought, the acts, the nets, the Cether. Then he would entered into deep concentration, attempting to arcalysis the Ara with his Vis, and access the Astral Plane, to summon the energies of the Force to his aid. Then he would gather the mana at his disposal, and shape it into a Sphere of Light, bobbing around the Cether's head; the fairy.

It was a bit more difficult for Xyltha to reach his clara since there was so much clamour, but in the end, he managed to. Putting together the pieces of the spell, the orb of light suddenly appeared, and then drifted over to Lyssoryl's head as he had commanded it. Once it was over her head, it bobbed and weaves for a bit longer than it had before, giving them time to do something else. The orb of light did not go out yet as it bobbed and weaved...

Lyssoryl was impressed with Xyltha's increase in skills with the light. She grabbed her broom, and mimicking the movements of a net, began to chase the light around. She performed several slapstick moves, tripping over things and pretending to hit Xyltha in the forehead with the net.
"I believe this is coming together quite well!" She exclaimed.

"Ouch!" The strike from the diminutive cether woke the elf from his trance, breaking his concentration. He rubbed his forehead vigorously, protesting at his companion.
"Watch where you swing that! Well, seems like my casting's going along quite nicely, I think." He picked up a broken bucket, imagining it to be some musty old tome with which to capture the Faerie.
"Alright, throw that faerie into this buck..- I mean tome. Quick, before it escapes!"
He threw the bucket at the cether, such that it struck a glancing blow off her head. He snickers... That was his revenge.
"Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to... are you alright?"

Lyssoryl rubbed her head and gave Xyltha a reproachful glare. "It is not considered gallant to abuse those only half your size." She said.
She then took her turn going into a state of clara, and when ready, began to sing Leland's Lullaby, which in the play would be supposed to have put the Fairy to sleep. She sang it sweetly, and with feeling.

As the bucket hit her head, it caused her to have a fair bit of pain up there, but if she concentrated hard enough, clara would be not that difficult to obtain. After obtaining it, the song Leland's Lullaby would start to make Xyltha feel quite sleepy and relaxed, enough that if he were to sit or lay down, instead of stand, he'd instantly fall to sleep under her spell...

Lyssoryl sang her song with as much excess of emotion as she could muster. She kept a careful eye on Xyltha to see if he would fall asleep, and decided that if he did she would not get revenge on him for the bucket throwing. One had to be civil afterall.

The lullaby was how it intended to be - eloquently soothing, flowing through Xyltha's being and smoothening his creased forehead. As his eyelids began to drag down across his vision, he allowed a smile of satisfaction cross his face.
Very beautiful... He thought. As the song continued, he went to pick up the bucket. Well, he would pretend that the faery was by now enthralled by Lyssoryl's song; as it was he would will the bobbing orb of light to stillness. He lugged the old bucket, and throw it over the light, thereby capturing it.
Yes! We have caught the Faery, even while it was enthralled in the majestic song of the lady songstress!
An imaginary applause went up in his head. He turned his head to regard the Cether, wondering how long the song would last.

Lyssoryl finished her song at last, and ran her hand across her brow. She then mimicked gently picking up the glowing "fairy," and holding it lovingly in her hands. She set it down on her large prop book, and then banged if violently shut.
"Can you make the fairy emerge and chase us, or must you cast your spell again?" Lyssoryl asked. If you need a new spell, you should go into clara while I sing.

The elf flinched back slightly, startled at the violence in such slamming of the old book by the diminutive Cether.
"Well, I suppose I'll have to resummon another one. Just give me a moment, please."
So saying, he shut his trap, and his eyes glazed over. Resuming the intense concentration to achieve Clara once more, he once more cleared his head of clutter and mutters. Once the arcalysis had been compelted, he reached back into the reserves of his Mana to fashion once more a sphere of light. He focussed his willpower into making it manifest from the book, such that it would appear to climb out of the pages and whirl around the Cether angrily.

The faery did just as intended, or the ball of light that was summoned. It spun around, and whirled at lyssoryl, creating an image of an angered faery. But luckily it was all under the brilliant control of the initiate Sorcerer Xyltha...

Lyssoryl emitted a piercing squeal, and ran back and forth across the stage with her arms waving in the air. She made a quick lap around the pile of chairs they were using as a placeholder for the idol, and then ran back towards Xyltha, so the "fairy" could chase them both at once and they could disappear stage left.
Once off stage, she gave off a high-pitched and comical yelp, as if the fairy had done something to them.

As the whimsical ball of light gave chase, Xyltha could only giggle at the capering Cether dashing to and fro amongst the chairs. As she turned her attention towards him, the elf followed suit, and departed the stage quick smart - the bobbing sphere still on their tails. He contorted his face, and uttered breathe of agonal respiration to add to the sound effects of Lyssoryl.
"Haha, well done! What do you think? Anything that needs improving, or minor script changes?"
He clapped his hands on Lyssoryl's back, in a camaraderie fashion. This cether was quite amusing, when she wanted to be. He was suddenly looking forward to the show already.
