Brightening 4 of the Second Cycle of The Month of Immanis in the Season of Winter
Era I of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIII Post Fractum in the Age of the Darkening
It wasn’t raining at the moment, but the stairs were still dangerously slippery from a previous shower. Amber didn’t have much trouble from that though as she simply flew over them. The amount of money lying around in her home had been growing steadily over the last years and it had become quite a lot to just leave lying about lately. When she had entered the bank she waited patiently for the clerk to handle the few clients before her and then flew up to him herself.
“Serale, I’d like to open a bank account and make a deposit.”
The old man nodded and started gathering some papers from various locations on his desk.
“Very well, I’ll need to your visa and of course the money you wish to deposit.”
The Faerie opened her bag and took out a big pile of papers. One was her visa and the rest were banknotes with varying values, together worth the sum of 2100 Gold Crowns. The clerk scribbled down some things on a few different papers and then handed two of them to the Fae.
“Sign here and here please.”
While she was struggling with a large feather, trying to create two decent autographs, the clerk started counting the pile of banknotes. By the time she was ready, a writ lay before her saying she had opened a bank account and deposited 2100 Gold Crowns on it.
“Well, that’s all there is to it. Is there anything else I can help you with miss Brightwing?”
“No, thank you, that was all.”
With that she left the bank again, heading back home weighing quite a bit less then when she had entered.
