A lithe elf entered rather interestingly to the always intrigued Pantheri. He watched as she greeted the guard. Then the most curious thing befell her. It looked as if the weapons held a life of their own to the elven maiden.
The katta merely shrugged her almost animated looks.
Then she approached him, looking as though she wanted to touch him, or maybe...pet him? The Pantheri didn't know what to make of her.
"Stabby stabby" she said. Sahkree could only think of what was in her mind, maybe she was a little crazy, if so maybe it wasn't a good Idea to sell her a weapon, but it wasn't his choice.
"Hmm, a knife you say. Well, the Rogue dagger, or a stilletto might be good. And I would say the stilletto would compliment your lithe figure. They are both 50 crown. Here let me show them to you."
The katta came around the counter to a small display case, he takes too knives out and places them on the counter.
"Alright, what do you think?" The katta waits patiently, watching her carefully incase the stabby stabby intention comes back.

Phoebe was watching the katta’s hands, or rather paws, like a hawk as he brought out two daggers and laid them before her. Amazing how dextrous one can be even without the long fingers of human or elf … or even half-elf. She was happy with the situation, or as happy as she got. The pantheri was helping her, she was in a shop with talking blades and soon she was going to own a dagger of her own. Life really didn’t get sweeter than that. She had been staring at the shop keep with large, blank eyes yet as the two daggers were put in front of her, the large violet orbs lit up with excitement. “Well they’re both very beautiful,” she answered in response. “Which is the sharper one? I think it’s important that they’re sharp, don’t you. Otherwise it’s more difficult to penetrate. I suppose either of them would be better than a kitchen knife eh?”
Both blades were short; the rogue dagger a mere six inches with the stiletto having a further inch to gleam in her eye. What made the stiletto more attractive though was the fact that it had three edges rather than the customary two of the rogue dagger. It was thin, almost skinny and the triangular edges elongated into a vicious needling point. A shining steel hilt gave the weapon an elegance that seemed to be too fine for one so scruffily dressed though. “Are they fresh? Have they tasted blood before?” The half-elf had leaned over the counter to look at each dagger more closely yet she refrained from touching either, keeping one hand resting on the counter edge and the other firmly holding the strap of her satchel. Yet she moved her head about, trying to inspect the daggers from all angles. “How strong are they? It’d be disappointing if they broke first time out.” She peered up at the pantheri from her crouched position, gazing at him with a clear desire for more knowledge of what was being offered.

"T-tasted blood yet. M'lady, these blades are, as you might say, virgin blades, they have not tasted anything but the grinding stone and sharpening oil." The katta leaned a little bit further back after that.
"Their craftmanship is almost excellent. They will stand the test of time and use, unless you smash it with a hammer or something similar. As with all weapons, they have their limits."
"As for their sharpness, I would say, that the rogue dagger is good for slashing, and some stabbing. But the stilletto is good for stabbing, and if used properly, it can slash much like a rapier."
The Pantheri indicates with one furry paw to one of the long thin blades on the wall.
ooc:I would ask for you to change your post about the Ivory" handle, I didn't say that it had one, but if there is that material, it might be able to be made, for a little more, if you want it pm me again, and I'll check for ya.

She knew she wanted the stiletto blade. It had called to her originally and now it lay before her, looking so humble but deliciously pointed, she couldn’t refuse. It would be impolite, she decided, and she didn’t want to hurt the stiletto’s feelings. Especially when it was still a virgin. That the rogue dagger was good for slashing sounded like jolly good fun too. Maybe she was really meant to be a slasher instead of a stabber. It was hard to know really when she had had no experience of holding a proper weapon whose only purpose was to inflict harm on another. Meat cleavers and the wood chopping axe were different. They were sturdy and hefty blades with practical purposes asides from the spilling of blood.
Her eyes flickered briefly at the mention of a rapier and she glanced at the long, thin blade indicated by the Pantheri’s padded paw. “Gosh, that is pretty,” she drawled with longing, wrapped in the whimsical thought that maybe she could buy one of those too. It would be hard to conceal though, and she didn’t want someone pinching it off her. Until she was skilled at protecting herself and her belongings, there was no call to draw attention to herself with a fancy weapon on display.
“So the rogue dagger is good for slashing? Is it the best? What’s a … Cossack dagger? And a kris?” All these names for these different types of dagger – she had no idea there was such variety. “Which is the best for slitting throats? I’ll be having the stiletto definitely! And I suppose I should also get something to wrap it in? How does one carry a stiletto around?” Poor little half-elf – so naïve she didn’t even know how to carry the weapon. The Pantheri had to realise by now that he had on his hands one clueless but enthusiastic maid.
OOC: What would you like me to change the description to? I’ve tried to read your mind but I’m beginning to realise that the psionic essence doesn’t exist in RL… sigh…

Agoz walked into the weapon shop and up to the counter, looking around for whomever was working the front, he then walked around and examined the many fine weapons on display, wondering whether or not the smith would be able to forge the weapon he had divised, not to mention if he had anough crowns for such a weapon. He thought to himself after a fashion how he would describe it. He supposed it was somewhat like an axe mace breed but it would take more than just this to describe it. "hrrrmmm... I should probably find someone to ask first" he mused to himself.

The Pantheri came around back to the knife and dagger display bringing out two more blades. One was a 10" blade that had a wavy design, a little as if it was on fire. Then the next he displayed was a straight 8" blade with two cutting sides, the light gleamed off of both of them.
He places these two in front of the enthusiastic lady.
The katta holds up the wavy blade. "This is a kriss, it is very good for stabbing and slashing, it can also turn a blade easier than the more straighter of these dagger types."
Agoz
Agoz came into the store, looking rather lost. As if what he wanted wasn't on display. The Pantheri watched for a little longer. Nodding to the guard to watch his movements. The Katta then stepped out of the shadows believing that the man(?) couldn't see him.
"Serale sir, is there a way that I may help you?" Sahkree glanced at the man watching every movement.

Agoz walked over to Sahkree and said "yes I need a custom weapon made, do you make custom weapons here?" he coughed and then said " If you do I can describe it quite well lets see..." he paused for a moment clearly in deep thought before saying " The haft of this weapon is 6 feet long with two grips for two handed use, the head of the weapon has 4 axe blades on it each being 18 inches in length from haft to edge, each blade is across from another, so that one blade is on each side of the square mount. on top of each axe head is a metal spine 12 inches long, that takes care of the blade part, now i'll tell you more about the grip, in the center of the grip should be the words Karag's Tooth engraved in metal, and at the bottem of the haft should be a metal skull with the fourhead and scalp covered in short 1 inch spikes, and thats about it, so how much will this set me back?"

“It can … turn a blade easier? That sounds useful,” she replied brightly, having no idea what was actually meant by the term turn in the context of blades. Still she touched none of them, the strange notion that if she did she’d be committed to buying them. She eyed them both closely though, quite enchanted with the way the light played off the steel.
“Which is the best for slitting throats then, out of the whole family?” she continued, her mind still on the questions that whirled about her mind. “Can the stiletto be used to do that?” Although the pointy tip of the thin blade seemed to be its most useful characteristic, the sharp edges of the blades seemed to sing danger. If she was to play these throat-slitters at their own game, she’d best learn what the tools of their trade were. She’d turn their advantages against them through knowledge.

Taking a moment to look at each one of the daggers, the Katta picked up the stilletto.
"For stabbing this is the one to choose, it can penetrate threw some thick armour."
He places the stilletto down and picks up the kriss.
"This weapon can stab, and cut, but do to it unique design, it will be a messy cut, which can't be healed easily."
Then he picks up the Cossack.
"This one will inflict a nice clean cut."
He places them back down, then indicates that they can be picked up to try for handling.

Clean cut, messy cut, stabby stabby stabby. Oh what a decision to have to make! The young half-elf gripped the strap of her satchel, eyes wide as she tried to make up her mind. They were all so pretty and each one was calling to her, sweet wheedling tones trying to influence her confused but excited thoughts.
“Stabby, stabby, I will be your stabby buddy,” chanted the stiletto, “I’ll be your bestest friend, Phoeeeebeeeee.”
“Just think what we could do, with a slash and a slitting we go, hey ho!” the Cossack dagger sang, a little off key but with plenty of gusto.
“Blood, blood, blood, blood,” murmured the kris, “lots of blood and guts and spilling of entrails, what a wonderful mess. Come on sweetheart, you know I’m the one!”
It was too much, the pressure of the voices and the wanting to please them all. How could she refuse the singing blades who wanted to be her friends and stop the nasty throat-slitters from cutting her delicate neck open. The light gleamed off the blades as they lay before her and although the katta had invited her to pick them up, she restrained herself. A touch would be a promise to buy and she had to decide, just had to decide first. But the voices were singing and her heart was pumping hard and before she knew what she was doing, she abruptly shouted to the array of daggers, “Okay! I’ll take you all. Just stop singing!”
The voices stopped immediately and there was a ringing calm as the echoes died away. Phoebe looked up to the katta, her mouth a little agape as what she recognised as an Embarrassing Silence took hold. “Noisy little critters, aren’t they,” she finally said, a weak smile on her lips. “I’ll buy them all. The stiletto, the Cossack and the kris. Then I’ll be ready for anything. Does this one have a sister?" She pointed at the stiletto, jabbing her finger. She had this vague notion that once she had stabbed with the knife she couldn't use it again. "I'd like to buy more of this one, how many stilettos do you have? And how do I carry them? Should I be getting sheathes?” Her eyes wavered on the price list a moment. Any colour? “Do they come in purple? Or can I just wrap them in material?”
The questions came tumbling out of her sweet little mouth.

The Pantheri jumped back a step as the half elf shouted out at the knives as if to quiet them. His hand was on the top of his cane sword. Just in case this lady was indead insane. As she looked up embarassed, the katta eased off the cane from behind the counter. Then raised his paw a little to calm the guard who had his blade almost halfway drawn.
As if nothing unusual happened, "So you would like them all, and more stillettos? if you wish to purchase more, we have more, but the craftmanship will guarantee that it can be used more than once. especially if you take care of them. And we do have a few purple leather sheaths but you may just wrap the complimentary wooden sheaths with cloth. So would you like the sheaths, and about how many stillettos would you like."
The katta had a relaxed look to his stature, but unbeknownst to the half elf, he was ready.

Wooden sheaths would do her, she reckoned. She just didn't want to cut herself by accident as she put her hand into her satchel. And she could get some pretty fabric later on. A nice bit of velvet maybe to wrap them all up together, nice and tight and warm, so they didn't feel lost. He'd ignored her question about how to wear the knives on her body twice now, so she dropped that line of inquiry, figuring that may be he didn't know.
"Three," she said simply, in reply to his question, "No, wait, four!" Four had to be a better number than three as you had more knives then. "Five?" Five stilletos and then the other two daggers came to seven and that was a lovely number when you thought about it. But it might be a bit much to lug around all the time, all that metal clanking in her bag and then everyone would know that she had lots of daggers. Remembering her previous notion that the daggers should be easily hidden, she went back to the original number. "Three, yes, three stilettos please. And the kriss, and the cossack. And I'll take the wooden sheaths too. I can paint them then!"
What a delightful thought! To paint the sheaths and then they could all be in different colours and be patterned and if she got sick of them she could just paint over the top. Really, all these wonderful ideas that she was having this brightening - it had to be a special brightening indeed. A prophetic day perhaps when she could see the future burning clearly. OOoooh she could paint flames on the wooden sheaths. The young half-elf liked fire! "Say, do you know where I can buy paints and brushes in this city?"

ooc: what ever happened to my post? hmm? eh?
After telling the smith what he wanted Agoz walked over to a nearby chair to wait to see if he would be granted his new weapon, he pondered what he would do with it " well I guess I could join some mercenarys hrrrmmm..., but I should get the feel of my weapon of choice first" he took at a peice of string and a needle and started stitching any parts of loose Skin that had started to tear off. after fixing any holes in his improved hide, he leaned back and dozed off.

ooc:no chairs in the shop lol except for mine and maybe the guards
ic:Sahkree wrote down the dimensions and statistics to the axe.
"Now we don't have a smithy, but we can order it for you." The katta scratched his lower jaw a little as if thinking.
"Let me figure a price now, and I'll be back with you in a second." The katta went to the back room.
Phoebe Verges
"Alright, let me get those for you." The katta came back around the counter picking up the rogue dagger as he went. He went over to the display case and dropped off the dagger, then he picked up two more stillettos.
Coming back to the counter he placed them on the counter, their blades gleaming brightly in the dim light. He then vanished into a back room, and came back out with three thin sheaths and two more sheaths for the other blades. The sheaths were a dark brown oak.
"Alright, three stillettos, one cossack and one kris, your total is 300 crowns." The katta places them each down as he counts them off.

He’d ignored her final question, but he had given her the daggers. Well, that was the main thing, she reasoned. She’d ask someone on the streets about paints and brushes. No doubt they’d send her in the wrong direction again, but she was getting used to this and was starting to pre-empt this tendency for others to lie to her by choosing the opposite way. Quickly she unbuckled her satchel and rummaged about for the loose notes which lay rather woe-be-gone at the bottom. Three notes, each worth one hundred crowns were laid on the counter top, the crumples in them flattened out the best she could. Grinning, she picked each dagger up by the wooden sheath and dropped it into her satchel.
“Thanks!”
And with that cheerful farewell, she left the weapons shop and made her way into the streets of the city once again.
