[Jha'rach D'Rinishad]

You didn't describe the finished product, so I'll just assume that it's exactly the way I wanted it and you can correct me in your next post.

Jha'rach unwrapped the parcel and examined the blade. His pupils dilated and his jaw went slack with awe. The blade was amazing, it was worth everything he paid for it. Down to the finest detail the blade had been made as he asked. Its dual edge was surgically sharp and he had a hard time drawing his eyes away from it, it was truly one of the finest pieces of work he'd ever seen.

Picking up the blade he twirled it experimentally in the air, its weight was perfectly balanced, fit for two and one hand usage. The tightly bound leather grip fit wonderfully into his palms and the crossguard, while simply made, still drew the eye to its amazing craftsmanship.

Unwrapping the second parcel he found a solid black sheath, worked fine leather that certainly wasn't fancy but would serve its purpose well. Inserting the blade into the sheath he turned back to the pantheri and smiled, "Well met cat, the smith is certainly an artist. I had said I would do further business with you if the blade was to my liking." He gazed briefly over he shoulder and continued in his deep drawl, "Its certainly to my liking..."

For a moment he considered what he was about to say and then began spouting instruction once again to the patheri, "I wish to have 6 blades crafted, all 7 and 1/2 inches long, daggers which are balanced to be thrown, but can still be used to stab. Raven's adorned upon them also, mind you, not the same design for every one, every one different... I'm sure the smith can think something up if he made this." He indicated the longblade over his shoulder. "I also want two other blades, slightly curved, only for stabbing, and a good foot long, also adorned." He grinned slightly and posed a question to the patheri, "Did you get all that?"

The second part of the order followed, "Those are the blades, now I require the braces, sheaths for them all. However these must have special straps on them, simple of course... The sheaths for the throwing knives will be as follows, one for each forearm, one for each calf and a full brace which goes over my ribs and can hold two more. Make sure all the braces have straps so they can be adapted to fit over armour. As for the foot long daggers, I just wish belt sheaths, one for each hip." He paused for a moment, hoping that the patheri absorbed everything he'd just been told, "The 6 throwing knives need to made of the same fine dwarven steel that my longblade was made of and the foot long knives made of elven steel. As well, make sure the braces are all black leather."

Jha'rach nodded, as if to reassure himself of the order, he followed this with a question which sounded more like a threat, "Of course, there's less steel involved with the making of theses weapons that there was with the longblade...? As well as reduced tempering and molding times... I would think that the price should be much lower than that of my longblade, since they will be far easier to make?"

Jha'rach pulled off his sword for a moment again and examined the sheath, "Also I really like this leather, is there any way a pair of boots could be made for me in which the right boot's sole could be made to hold this?" A short 4 inch elven steel dagger flipped out of nowhere and landed mere inches from the palm of the patheri. Jha'rach grinned wildly. There was no doubt about it, the vysstichi looked unhinged.

Magrand Black

The Katta greeted the large dracon with a wave of his paw.

"Serale again sir. If you would take the wagon to the rear of the building I will present you with your order. We managed to aquire everything that you wanted including these."

The Pantheri placed three parces in font of the Dracon, and one small bulky package.

"These are the war scythes and this package is the throwing knives you specially ordered. I hope they are to your liking."

The katta handed Black the small parcel with the knives in it.



Jha'rach Fai'de

Glad to have appeased the confusing dark elf, Sahkree began to record the figure's next big order. A crease furrowed his brow as the descriptions were being told. How this man came into so much money was driving the katta's curiosity wild. But he managed to suppress the urge to ask, question could get a man killed.

"Alright sir. For the knives it will be 7200 for dwarven steel. The foot long two will be 600 crown. They will all have a different design for the crossguard. Since you are wanting special sheaths, that will require ordering from elsewhere, they will be 300 crown."

Then looking at the dagger at his furred paw, he grimaced slightly at this obvious try at fear.

"And you will have to go elsewhere for the boots we are not a clothier. For everything else, it will be another cycle."

He waits for the elf's response.

[Jha'rach D'Rinishad]

Jha'rach's 4 inch dagger slipped lightly into his palm again and disappeared into the folds of his cloak. He held the gaze of the patheri for a moment, then reached into his cloak and extracted an additional 7,200 crowns, the purse was very large, how the dark elf had been able to carry it around without noticeably drawing attention was a mystery unto itself. The death of others often brought a considerable income...

He nodded lightly to the patheri, his face was completely blank, he was quite satisfied with the quality of the goods he'd received and so he felt no need to question the cat further.

Escaping into the darkened vortex streets Jha'rach left the blades shop, leaving naught but the trailing sent of his insanity.

Returning to the blades shop after a cycle had pushed Jha'rach's impatience to the brink, entering; he swept the room with his critical gaze and sinuously glided over to the counter.

He didn't say anything, instead he simply waited for the patheri to retrieve his order.

[Magrand Black]

Magrand responded to the panthari's greeting with a mere nod of the head... such was reserved for matters of business in his world. Yet formality was no matter on his mind... rather, his order was. Normally, he wouldn't be so keen on acting out the role of runner like some foolish peasant, but sensitive projects required sensitive measures... even if said assignment remained within the bounds of Imperial Decree. The information would remain confidential so long as he deemed fit... which may be quite a long time, considering the organizations that he affiliated himself with. Credibility was a large issue in business, and the dracon wouldn't do anything to negatively affect his credibility unless the benifit was huge, or the risk was low and proper precautions were taken...

"Serale to you too, master katta. I will take these off of your hands now..."

Accepting the parcels eagerly, the dracon looked upon his array of new weaponry with interest... one could not determine the potency of such arms on the battlefield, but considering its expensive construction, it had better be damned useful. 1,500 crowns was a lot to pay for a weapon, even for an exotic one such as this war scythe... Quickly checking over the new equipment to ensure its quality, the dracon offered a few more quick words with the katta.

"Good. Now please, lead me out back so that I can start loading up the wagon."

Jha'rach Fai'de

The dark elf entered the shop once more. One more time that the Katta liked, but he was good business so the Pantheri could handle it.

Jha'rach came up to the counter and just stood there, as if the Katta could read his mind. Sahkree knew what he wanted either way.

Without a word, he disappeared into the back room, and reappeared later with a rather lumpy parcel. He lays it on the counter, the brown paper making a crunching sound as it touched the hard wood.




Magrand Black

Nodding his furred head, the Katta motioned to the dracon to follow him.

Magrand was led threw many shelves holding blades and sheathes and other pieces of equipment used for the shop.

Coming to an average sized door in the back of the store, The Pantheri opened it to reveal the back of the store. Motioning to a corner that was housing the stockpile of weapons in neat stacks for easy counting Sahkree stepped out of the way.

"There you are sir, labeled with the number in each bundle."

[Jha'rach D'Rinishad]

Jha'rach quickly unwrapped the parcel; finding his dwarven and elven daggers intact with their various specially made braces. The daggers we're absolute masterpieces, having been made with different adornments, they we're each onto themselves a work of art. Their edges were amazingly sharp, the dwarven throwing daggers being double edged, and the elven daggers being slightly curved. They shone brilliantly even in the dull light of the blades shop. They would serve him well.

Jha'rach tested the balance of the throwing daggers by flipping them up into the air and catching them repeatedly, they we're perfectly balanced. He had no doubt that he could throw one approximately 20 feet without difficultly, the weight that the dwarven steel provided made them perfect for long throws.

Attaching the sheaths to his calves, forearms and chest, the vysstichi tightened the braces to fit over is armour and inserted his dwarven blades into their rightful places. His elven daggers came next. The sheaths he was provided we're placed onto his hips and the blades we're inserted inside.

He now carried upwards of 10 blades on his body, he was a walking menace. Without a word he gazed up at the patheri one last time and exited the building silently.

[Faust D'Rinishad]

Stepping into the facility the Vysstichi bypassed the typical commodities of glancing around but instead searched about for the petite hobbit that he knew would be there. Finding him shortly the dark elf proffered one of those renowned grins of his and extended an arm habitually.

"Serale, I'm looking to purchase two more wristbows from this place along with perhaps 40 or so bolts."

During his last visit the Vysstichi had paid fifty for each wristbow, bolts included. Pulling out the proper coinery and such the dark elf extended the coins and waited to receive his items before departing.

OOC: uh...it was mentioned in the OOC thread that simple purchases could be RP'd ourselves. if there is a problem in me doing so then please PM me so that I can edit accordingly. if not though, i'll be moving along.

[Magrand Black]

The large, stooping figure of dracolord Magrand Black followed along anxiously, obviously eager to receive his new armoury. He could almost taste that sharp, cold steel, fresh from the forge. If the bladesmith’s work had proven to be anything like the dracon’s last query, he would be quite pleased indeed. Yet, at that moment, he had interested himself slightly with the racks upon racks of weaponry displayed in the corners of his eyes. This place was a curiosity indeed—it wasn’t exactly common for the dracolord to wander around in common smithies all day admiring their works. Perhaps another time he would return for another purchase merely to browse through these works, searching for something of interest. That, however, was for another day. After all, he already had an expansive order outstanding… maybe sometime after he grew used to his expanded armoury…

Soon enough, they had arrived at their destination, and the large assortment of weaponry indeed struck him as odd, though indefinitely pleasing. He was glad that he had chosen not to conscript such work from the Order’s smithy, as it would have taken far too much effort… it would have been an inconvenience to the management of his fortress. This was the best alternative, and also the safest one concerning the confidentiality of his Barony. Now, there was but the daunting task of loading all of this sharp metal into the shipping wagon to be taken back to his complex for storage and distribution. Motioning to the katta for a moment, the dracon spoke before issuing the order to his men outside…

“Excellent… I assume that everything is in order, master katta. Now, all that remains is to load all this back into the wagon. Please, excuse me for a moment while I signal my men for the task…”

With that, the dracon returned to his wagon outside to give the order to begin loading. It was a daunting task indeed, but also one carried out easily enough. With a simple command, his men grudgingly moved to the back of the shop where the weapons were held. Magrand, on the other hand, stayed by the wagon and watched over it suspiciously… he would not have some random brigand stealing his well-earned goods from right under his nose. Besides, he was no common labourer such as those he hired—he was far above such menial tasks.

Once his employees were concluded with their work, and they were ready for departure, the dracon once again approached Sahkree with several words to signal his departure, as was custom of these parts.

“Excellent… I believe that we are concluded here, are we not? Serale for now."

With that, the dracon left the building, and indeed, the vicinity with his valuable load wheeled carefully towards their final destination…

Faust D'Rinishad


Looking up, the katta glanced at the vysstichioddly.

"Serale sir. I'm sorry, but the smallest crossbow we have is the hand crossbow, and that alone is 150 crown. If you would like to order two wristbows, we can send it out with our next shipment. It may take a cycle. As for the bolts, they come in dozens at 18 crown a dozen."

With arms on the counter, he looks into the face of the dark elf, waiting for his reply.

[Ryu Tatsu]

Ryu walked up to the counter with His white hair flowing in the wind.
"I am in search of a wristbow, and 6 groups of bolts," he called out,"Also an Elven longknife; cyrstal dusted, gold plated,with a black leather shealth."

He drew is cloak tight arond himself as he was a bit cold.

[Tius]

The white haired Rhagrhnd came into the Weapon's shop. His dark blue eyes seemed to laugh at the ease of purchasing weapons. He came to the counter beside an elf clutching his cloak. The owner was done listening to him, and went to the Rhagrhnd.
" I need a sort of things, mainly a dagger sheath and hunting knife sheath kinda fused together, and a set of crossed straps, kinda like suspendors, with two adjustable loops to fit battle axes. How much does that cost?..."

ryu tatsu

The dark elf seemed to not like niceties, being straight to the point, so the Panthari thought he might keep this Vysstichi content. Might.

"And serale to thee as well. We do not have any wristbows, but we can order it if you would like, that would take a cycle at least. But for the elvish longknife, that will take two days, and will cost 530 crown for all the specs you want. and if you still want the bolts that will be an extra 180."

The katta is leaning back against the back wall, looking deeply at the dark one.

While the dark elf was staning there making up his mind, Sahkree turned towards the Rhagrhnd.

"Serale sir, how may I help you?"

Listening to the request, the Katta seems to frown while in thought.

"I'm sorry, but that is a very extravagant order, you will have to go to a leathersmith. I apologize again for the inconvenience."

[Tius]

" Thank you, but I'm at a lost, I came here because I didn't know where a leathersmith would be, if you could just point me in the general direction?

[Ryu Tatsu]

Ryu looked at the shop keeper, and replied, "I will be back in on cycle to buy it all, please tell me how much it will all cost, a total and i will be back in a cycle,"

[Sahkree K'rak]

Rubbing his furred chin, the katta uses his claws in a pointing motion.

"Well, if you go outside, you will see a sign saying Amalthea's Apparel. I believe that they will be able to get you what you would like."

He nods his head as if agreeing with himself.



ryu tatsu

Taking a parchment of paper out he lists out the items wanted.

"Alright, I will be able to get the wristbow for 350. Added to everything else, the total will be 1050. I will expect it up front for this expensive of an order. And it will take a cycle again for the order to be received back here. Will that be good?"

Sahkree looks up from the parchment to the dark face of the vysstichi.
