"Lady Thane the knowledge of the guard is avaliable to you at all times. I am able to give you a general bitof information that may make your job easier." Truth be told Dorvold assumed it was common knowledge, the gang were hardly subtle with their machinations. "The blood alley gang is just that, a gang that occupy an alley or rather a large street in the southern quarter." Dorvold chuckled through his beardand began to fondle a small jade charm wrapped into one of the braids.

"The main building is the administrative section of the gang but the leaders make their homes in the large warehouses at the sides of the street. They are however rather like small fortresses." Dorvold chuckled further and continued, turning to the man who stood before him, "Most theives drop away back into society, Vortex has the luxury of an unpoliced dark elven city directly below it. If any criminals wanted to gather there and conter-attack then it would be easier than in most cities." he turned to the Thane and nodded, "But my words shall not swy your decisions Lady Thane, if you wish to begin your plan I can but serve."

Only nodding, Alexei scratched his chin with one hand and rolled a finger through the air with the other, as if all this was already known to him. He didn't openly cut the dwarf off in mid speech, but it seemed that he wasn't far from it. He bobbed his head to the dwarf's words, but still managed to give a few extra moments for those who accompanied him to contemplate the situation after the short one had finished. "Yes, yes, the "Leaders'" houses are on the same street as the hq, but hard-won information says that several dozen individuals make these buildings their homes. I don't know about you, but I've never heard of any criminal leaders who could share power with even a handful of others, let alone dozens. As likely as not we will find higher ups there, but no true leaders. It is good that you have brought these locations up, as we will need to block them off for the attack, but I imagine anyone important -anyone who has paid enough for loyal men- will get word of the movement of six hundred soldiers through their quarter some time before we arrive." An expression indicative of deep thought crossed his features momentarily. "If you wouldn't mind giving a few guardsmen, I can give up a couple squads to act as scouts and shadows. They'll split off and follow any individuals who leave 'early'. This will at least give you information on safe-houses for some fairly important people and aid in your cleanup." The second point came with some uncertainty, and as such he did not speak with quite so much confidence. "As for your un-policed vysstichi, my reconnaissance teams have found, at the cost of their spilled blood, that the vysstichi have no love for the Blood Alley Gang. If anything, they'll rejoice to hear that rivals have been wiped off the criminal landscape. Perhaps a few vysstichi members may be able to use your 'Har'oloth', but any others will be discovered far too quickly to have any chance at planning a counterstrike. Unless you have intel from those vysstichi houses which I do not, I very much doubt any trouble will be originating there." He nodded his head and cocked an eyebrow, as if to say 'take it or leave it'.

OOC: Sorry for the block. Tired.

“They might occupy a large street in the Southern Quarter, we both know their reach goes much further then that. Most crimes happening in that area are controlled or monitored by them in some way.” You didn’t need to be subtle if you controlled the area after all. “I doubt they’d flee underground too. Those areas that are welcoming to all races have guards too and there’s few Vysstichi or Esh'lahier to be found in the Southern Quarter as the Lieutenant noted.”

She was surprised at how well informed he was about the state of the city. His ‘hard-won information’ seemed to pretty up thorough, leaving her only to wonder how much spies the governor had in the city. Perhaps that’s how he had known or guessed about her chosen craft? Not many Fae in the city, so if he had seen one entering a place known for its Necromancy teachings he might just have deducted the right answer. It was something she’d keep in mind.

She thought about if for a moment. “The scouts actually sound like a great idea. If any flee those buildings in advance, chances are good they are important figures. Taking those as well as other safe houses would make the blow even harder. I suppose if we have forces to spare we could try and take some of those fortresses too, though the chance of catching of the top figures is rather low I think.” A thoughtful pause. “Probably best to clear them out anyway once we have taken their headquarters, if only to prevent them from becoming the new headquarters.”

Shifting his weight impatiently, if imperceptibly, Alexei gave a glance to each of the two in the room. He had always been one to say that there was no such thing as too much planning, but in this case he was beginning to feel something akin to excitement and he was eager to set these plans in motion.

"We have what we need in mind. They will be trapped and forced to submit or die. Those who are smart will be followed and taken care of in one manner or another. If I feel that there is any resistance remaining in the smaller 'outer' buildings, we will crush them after the initial destruction. However, for the time being, I believe we have said all which needs to be said on the subject of a single, fatal blow to the B-A-G. Stragglers can be taken down by your own men when they re-surface. I have no doubt that you'll keep a stranglehold on their territory afterward." He scanned the dwarf over once again and gave a slight grimace when the short one wasn't looking. "You are quite intelligent enough to understand the need for an iron fist here." He made a point of directing that to Amber alone.

"If you have no further requests or additions to our plans, I will have my leave, your grace." He gave a bow and waited for consent to go.

OOC: Planning done. Sorry for the delays.
