I have the flu, and I feel pretty bad.
I can't breathe, I have a runny nose, I can't hear very well.
I could talk just fine this morning, but my voice is totally gone now.
So not sure how much you'll be seeing of me in the coming days ...

Take it easy, 'tis the season for the flu, pour yourself a nice steaming cup of java and mix in some dram or baileys, that always makes me feel better when I feel sick.

I'm feeling a little better today. Was too miserable to go to uni yesterday, but I'm going today so that I don't miss too many classes.
Posting will probably resume tomorrow because ...
... I still don't feel particularly creative.
... I just got the new Lord of the Rings Online expansion, so I'll spend this evening playing that.

LOTRO is much better than WoW. The graphics are less cartoonish, and the community is more mature and helpful. The players aren't as item crazy either. 
Btw, I made 3 posts this afternoon!
The LOTRO servers are down at the moment because they have to implement some kind of hotfix, so I decided to post a bit.

Hey just wanted to pop in and ask a quick question if anyone could answer it. If I were to buy a slave and then set them free IC, would I then be able to RP that character's reaction to getting set free? Specifically I had in mind buying an experienced farmer at the slave market, then freeing him, and then RP'ing him as very gratful and repaying the "debt" he sees he owes me through working on my farm. Or would a mod need to RP the NPC's reaction to being freed? Thanks for any help.

To my knowledge; this is absolutely possible now that you can self moderate.
Just make sure that it makes sense, and if you are at all worried, just ask a resident AGM or GM to give it a stamp of approval.

Luit: If you are expecting a lifelong companion/devotee, do a quick check with a GM first. Otherwise, feel free to go for it. Just remember to keep in line with the personality of the NPC. My character actually did that with several slaves before he left Vortex and things worked out well.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, and I'm going to go ahead with the purchase and do the actual freeing back in Diana or Trysvale so I'll sort out approval with the GM's there. Thanks again, and look for a post from me soon in the slave market.
