To those who have posted here: This thread is now closed for advertising for new players to join your family. Please use the Matchmaker forum for any new additions. Information for how to promote your family to attract new players is given in this thread.

Those who have used this thread do not need to repost in the Matchmaker forum, as this thread will be split into individual threads. Although if you wish to repost the information about your family before this happens (soon, I promise!), then that is fine too!

When the information is reposted from the split thread, a PM will be sent to the original player with a link to their new thread.

Joining A Family

For New Players and New Characters

Do you want your PC to be related to already established players? Then scan this directory. In the posts below there is information available about PC Families that are looking for new members. Feel free to contact them and ask their aide in establishing a new pc. Do not 'join' a family without the permission of its members/head. If you need to get your name changed, post a ticket in the Helpdesk!

If the player you're contacting doesn't respond after a week or so, it may be that the player has retired that account or is absent from the game. We suggest that you check out the player's activity, or try looking for the other PC members of the family. If you need help with this, please make a thread in the Questions and Answers forum.

For Those Who Want to Increase Their Family

If you are an established player (i.e. have roleplayed your character and have an idea of your family history), and would like to allow new players to either a) adopt the persona of one of your already created npc relatives, or b) simply join your family as is, please post in this thread using the following form:

What races can realistically be a part of your house, e.g. elves & humans, dracons, etc.

The number of places open for new family members e.g. one uncle, two sisters & up to 5 cousins.

I am looking for people who would want to be family members from Dana's mother's side. They could be siblings of dana, cousins, etc.
I would really love for someone to be Chime, Dana's mother, who was supposed to be in Paxia during the battles and of whom Dana currently does not know what has happened with her during these battles.

Furthermore, i am looking for people who might have known Florian, Dana's father, before he got expelled in the year 10214. People who have been fighting at tirisfal during the besiege of Carmelyn by archonic forces of the church of faith. I am looking for friends or relatives of his wife Rosanne. (see story on Florian below) I am not looking for relatives of Florian himself because i am currently discussing possibilites of him being a family member of ronald moonstar with ronald moonstar himself.

background story of Florian Leonsson:

Florian Leonsson was once a respected warrior that had sworn to honour the tenets of Aslan.
He was known as faithfull, reliable and for always helping his fellow warriors out in times of need. His reputation did however, chance by an unforunate inicident and an event that stemmed from it. As known by many, Carmelyn was beseiged by Archonic forces of the church of the faith. One year before, Florian had married a woman called Rosanna Perylsdotter. Rosanna was a beautiful, warm and kind woman. She was also one of the few female warriors of Carmelyn. She was someone unique in every sense of the word and many men thought of Florian to be very lucky to be loved by such a woman. Florian agreed on that.
Florian and Rosanne both took part in the battle for Carmelyn, living in a small village just outside the city, they fought at the walls of Tirisfal.
The unfortunate happened, and Rosanne got killed by one of the Archonic warriors. Florian’s world was torn apart, he was depressed, but also extremely mad. He had lost the one and only person that he lived for, a person that he had loved with every beat of his heart and for whom he had been willing to die. At the particular moment, he had not been able to save her, something he has been blaming himself for for the rest of his live. He had seen it happening, right in front of his eyes, an event that would haunt him for the rest of his life. It so happened that about a month later, Florian stumbled upon his wife’s murderer out in the streets of his village. The man that murdered Rosanne, had been unarmed at that moment. Florian was armed however, and seeing the man, he got outraged by anger, things turning black in front of his eyes. Florian drew his sword and killed the man. Hereby, Florian had broken the sixth tenet of Aslan, the one of the black heart, and he was bannished from the village. Florian has never understood why noone could see how difficult this situation had been for him. He has also, however, always been feeling guilty for not having been able to save his wife. Both were reasons to never mention his life in Carmelyn to his new wife and daughter. His history has always been a mystery for them.
