Well, here I am.
I just got this site suggested to me today at school, and I decided that it looked like it was right up my alley.
My character's name is Calin. I don't know if I should say that 'my' name is Calin, though.
I will, at any rate.
My name is Calin. I am a twelve year old land dwelling elf and I was born in the Elvish City of Cambridge on the country island of Cresence, though I have come to Tearsfall on an exchange trip. I am 5'6, I have vibrant green eyes and blonde hair that reaches halfway down my back.
Although the Elves my race are usually disliked, I am easily impressionable, and I am easily frightened. With me, though, I carry the Light of Cresence, the power of my home country. My grandfather was dubbed Shadow and controlled the entire country in a reign of darkness, save for my city and the Cliffs of Nyre, where the dragons took refuge. He lived for 300 years in power, but after my father escaped and came to Cambridge, he raised a family (I being the youngest of five sons) and together our power vanquished him.
(I don't know if this counts as rambling yet :P )
