Ull Perkons at your service; Answers and Questions!
Hello People!
I'm a newbie to this game, although my experience with this kinda rpg's is extensive. Okay, I'll first answer your questions, then I'll have a few of my own...
1] How did you find out about Alleria?
Hmm, I think I got the link from Terrawin.net. Yep, that was it.
2] Were you aware of the basics of the game before you joined?
Yes, I read the info before joining. Actually they aren't unlike the other two rpg's that I'm currently hauntec by.
3] Why did you decide to join us?
My pc's in other games are a bit slow, and I've got some spare time at hand.
4] Were you easily able to find guides and information?
Man, there's a great, ol' heap of info there. I was able to find it...but it took about a day.
5] Were the guides helpful and easy to understand?
Very helpful and easily readable. Some descriptions a bit too extensive to my taste. Still, I understand how easy it is to be carried away by a topic that takes one's fancy.
6] Have you been contacted by a Player Advisor?
Hmm, haven't checked my mail yet, so I would have to say no.
7] How easy is it for you to find the information you need on the website?
See question 4 and 5.
8] What changes to the website would make things easier for you?
It's okay.
Some questions of my own:
I'm thinking of playing a retired human gladiator, age 37 patterns. I do understand the principle of growing and reaching certain levels, but realistically it would be better if Ull had was experienced in some areas. It would be logical as well that he wouldn't be very fast anymore because of his age, although his vaste knowledge and training would make up for - at least - part of it.
My reason to play a middle aged guy is to do something different. It seems that most pc's are young; teens or young twenties. I feel it would make for interesting role playing to have an older pc.
Please let me know what you think! Thanks!

If you wish to start with some basic skills in a particular trade or whatever, at the moment you can post via the help desk to request slightly different starting conditions. We're pretty reasonable as long as you don't want level three in a lot of skills in trade for all your money and items
Give us as much detail about whys and wherefores and so on, and I'm sure we can work something out
Welcome to alleria!

Ah, great! I'm working on the char sheet right now. Hope to finish it soon. I'll keep in the realm of the reasonable.
Just you wait and see.
Btw, how can I get a custom avatar in place? I cannot seem to find the right course of action.

Custom avatars are a feature enabled only for companions (Players who pay the game). In addition to custom avatars they get a custom title, a companion image under their name, access to a companion only forum and once in a year or so there's a special Companion-only advanture.
Needless to say the game experience is not hampered in the least if you do not buy companionship. To purchase companionship visit this link.

You can also get a custom avatar if you become a GM, but you'll have to get quite a bit of experience first! In the meantime, images in your signature tend to work quite nicely. I'm not sure of the restrictions on this: I think the max is something like 60x500 pixels, but don't quote me. People get away with stuff a bit larger, though. *runs from Caerydd*
Welcome to Alleria! Hope to see you IC!

thanks a lot peoples.
I even posted my char sheet... Took me long enough. *grins sheepishly* But hey, I think it's quite nice. If you have any feedback, do not hesitate to haunt me!
And I'm sure I'll have a great time here. Modding is something far from my mind at the moment. Last time I tried that it ran away with me. Too many ideas, too little time. *flicks through his ten ton notebook*
Hope to see some of you soon in roleplay.
