In Need of a City
Penda is in need of a city. She's 1/2 Elf and 1/2 Human. I usually like to make my PC's background include her city.
Any ideas of a good place to start her?

This thread could offer you some help in choosing, though you're free to pick any city you like. Half elf/human's fit in pretty much everywhere.

Might I suggest Natura if you want to embrace her elven side? GM Fox is back in action and she's a sweetheart, the location is great, and the people already there are very friendly

I think that she'll be 1/2 Medonian Elf and 1/2 Human. Her father will be human and her mother Medonian Elvin.
Now this may be a stupid question... but if she's Medonian Elf does that mean that she's from Medonia? So that could mean that her father could be from some place close like Natura.
Does anyone have any good background suggestions?

Medonian elves are actually just those descended from the high elves who settled in what is now the province of Enamoria, near the cities of Daltina and Medonia. They're to be distinguished from the wood elves who settled in silrosia.
Basically medonian elves can be from anywhere in the empire besides silrosia nowadays.

Well I only beg that you don't go with the whole "her parents were brutally killed" or "she has amnesia" or... something else very overdone
There's nothing wrong with having a "normal" past with her parents still alive, kicking, and happy.
