It stood there - moving not one inch - yet satisfied. A relic of a statue, regarded as magical and holy by everyone. Its powers were not questioned nor were they pondered about, even when a Question Stone was at the hands of every Zinn'Sunnese citizen. If one took the time to realize all these gifts that the gods have bestowed upon the people of Zinn'Sunn, they would find many things to be quite unfair. Zinn'Sunn - a wondrous, mysterious article - gifted with the grateful Luduan statue, seemed to be an ever-thriving city. It prospered under the rule of its beliefs and its extravagant culture, a culture far beyond the comprehension of those of other lands. Not even the mysterious culture of the Fae-kind could rival that of this haven. Therfore, it stood - moving not inch - yet satisfied.
A man clad in brown fur and cloth stood in front of the Statue, satisfied. His name was Fenrir Black, a princox of a man and a healthy citizen of Zinn'Sunn. He gazed slowly at the stone wonder, reminiscing on his childhood.
How did this go again? He paced himself closer to the statue, noticing the horn.
Ah yes, cut your hand and place blood on the horn. Cool. Fenrir released his dagger from its sheath and carefully cut his palm. Blood slowly dripped onto the horn of the Luduan, seeping slowly downwards. Fenrir took a deep breath.
Cool, now I have to confess or something right? Fenrir looked deep within his mind, searching for something to utter. In an instant, his alternate ego, Rirnef sprung into action.
You fool. What do you want? You know how much dishonor it does to me to see you relying on some stupid stone for a gift? You don't know, but I can bring you great power Fenrir. Fenrir's eyes softened. He stared at the Luduan statue, waiting but not knowing what to do. It seemed as if the statue had been waiting as well, glaring directly at Fenrir and waiting for an answer.
"All I want is more and more power! I don't know why it happened! I don't know why I have an alternate ego of my own rests in my brain! Ever since then, I've felt stronger but I can't help but notice that this power is not enough...it's simply not enough, not for me." Fenrir's eyes teared slowly, anxious for something to happen. His throat dried up instantly, due to the sheer intensity of his words and the meaning behind them. Rirnef sat within Fenrir's mind, satisfied.
