Late evening, 6th Brightening of Optia, Spring, Era XV Post Fractum
Searena read and reread Ceva's letter, she couldn't believe that he'd written back! She'd wanted him to, but didn't dare hope that she would ever hear or see the dark elf again. One sentence in his letter she read outloud, "You are still held fondly, and my mind does now and again race with the ideas of our bodies close and warm on that hot day." If sea elves could blush, her face would be very bright indeed.
He still thinks of her fondly, and he does now and again think about what happened between them. And here she'd almost decided against writing to him. It had been a long shot that he'd still live in Har'olth, it being so long since she talked to or seen him. Ceva had said in his letter that he wasn't the same dark elf in rags without a crown to spare that she remembered. She was glad to learn that he was doing well, but she also hoped that he was happy.
Laying the letter aside, Searena removed her pen, and papers from the storage trunk, made herself comfortable on the large sturdy bed and started to write another letter to Ceva.
